Niche grocery store with fresh and packaged vegan and vegetarian type foods. Pretty good selection. The staff can be a little too "helpful" at times, especially if business is slow and the store is empty.
A miniature version of "Whole Foods"
This is the Rural equivalent of Urban Whole Foods. However, this is truely real food. This is a Non-GMO, totally Organic food store. Their bulk bins bost a variety of dried fruits, nuts, beans, TVP, grains, flours, granolas, and confections. If you are into packaged foods, the ailes are repleat with pre-packaged organics. Honeys, butters, noodles, sauces, beans, ... They have their own bakery and publish which breads they bake on which days. Warning: the "dried" dates in the Produce section are like biting into Baklava! The parking is right at the front door but is a squeeze during major commute times.
Only grocer in town to get good quality local brats and other meat, IMO. Would be 4 stars, but stock varies and they run out of things, charge the wrong prices, and carry expired goods from time to time. It's pricey but they offer specials now and then via a text club. There is a big section of the store taken up by supplements and vitamins, hair and beauty, and now candy and wine. Bulk offers are numerous for baking and snaking, spices and teas too. They have very limited hours on the weekend! Be sure to check.
